The Picual olive oil is deep green-golden in colour with a deep aroma on the nose. On the palette there is some fruity initial pungency, which slips into a lingering finish with a nice touch of bitter after taste. Approximately 50% of the olive trees in Spain are Picual, producing 10% of the world's olive oil. The distinctive taste/aroma of Picual olive oil is excellent with food like salads, meat, sauces and vegetables.
