Wines » Chardonnay 2009
All the fruit for this wine was grown and picked from the home block at Stafford Lane Estate on the Waimea plains. It was hand harvested and well ripened at 25 Brix. Following crushing, destemming and a gentle pressing the juice was cold settled to clarify and then fermented in a stainless steel tank with European oak. It was aged on lees for 6 months, and then the wine was stabilised and filtered prior to bottling in November 2007.
